About ORKA88
ORKA 88 began where good things often do- on a pickleball court in Kolkata. We're two people who simply love to travel and love to play. Somewhere along the way we noticed that some of the warmest, most genuine connections we'd ever made came from picking up a paddle and sharing a game with people who quickly became friends.
We wanted to bottle that feeling- to bring together the two things we love most, sport and travel, and give others a reason to experience both. So we built ORKA 88: premium pickleball retreats in beautiful places, designed for players of every level. The name is rooted in 88°East, the longitude that runs through our home city- a reminder of where we started and a nod to how far we intend to go.
We started wondering if travel could be designed around that feeling. Orka 88 was our answer: Curated sports retreats where travel becomes the backdrop for play, connection and shared experiences.

Orka 88 began with a simple observation.
Some of our favourite places were memorable only because of the people we met there.
It started on a pickleball court in Kolkata. Again and again, we saw that friendships began the same way: by simply picking up a paddle and sharing a game.

Aditi believes the smallest details shape the biggest memories.
From the hotel you wake up in to the table everyone gathers around at dinner, she curates every Orka 88 experience with an eye for beauty, comfort and connection.
A resortwear designer, trained at the London College of Fashion and Le Cordon Bleu, she brings together design and wellbeing to create retreats that feel effortless from beginning to end.

For Rishabh, pickleball has always been about more than competition.
Rishabh brings years of competitive experience to every Orka 88 retreat, but his approach has always been simple: great coaching should feel encouraging, challenging and deeply personal.
Whether you're picking up a paddle for the first time or refining your tournament game, his sessions are built around meaningful progress, thoughtful feedback and a genuine love for the sport.
